Shoppers need additional filters and sort options to efficiently evaluate inventory options.

Shoppers are looking for a way to compare features, options, and pricing related to their VINs of interest.

Shoppers are struggling to understand the monthly payments associated with the inventory results.

Wireframes

Five unique card layout wireframes were created along with three options for the quick-view layout.

Prototypes

Prototypes for all card types as well as quick-view options were created for testing.

Key insights

Users struggled with understanding the relationship between models, trims, packages, & options.
Users preferred an inline quick view experience vs a modal experience as it allows them to stay within the context of the results page while reviewing additional details.

Final product

Robust filtering tool

Allows users to cross shop models and more precisely narrow down inventory of interest.

Addition of compare

Improves understanding of differences between VINs.

Provides the pricing type that is most relevant to the user.
